Pin
Description and connection
Pin Name |
Description |
+5V |
This is the power supply pin for the module.
Connect this pin to a regulated 5 V supply. |
GND |
Power Ground |
TXD |
This pin sends the data to the
microcontroller/PC Serially at the baud rate of 9600 bps in the BCD format.
The data contains two bytes per frame. The BCD for the higher four bits of the first byte represents the polarity. Where A denotes positive and the B
denotes the negative. The BCD code for the lower four bits of the first byte represents the tenth value of the current. The BCD code for the higher four bits of the second byte represents the ones value of the current. The BCD
code for the lower four bits of the second byte represents the first value after the decimal of the current. |
Vout |
This pin the alarm status pin. This pin goes high with the current exceeds the set limit. A simple buzzer, alarm, or microcontroller pun can be connected to this. |
D_Comp |
This pin is used to set the maximum current limit. We need to provide the voltage to this pin. The formula to set the
voltage is as V=2.5+I*K. Where K is a constant whose value
is 26mV/A. |

Note: -
While using this module make sure that the load current flows after a delay of
.5 seconds.
